pays the bills for ClickForACause and, hopefully, gains

Does anyone make any money from ClickForACause?
Absolutely not. Every cent generated by the site goes directly to the United Nations World Food Program.
Nothing at all is subtracted for operating expenses, since those are paid by Consumer Republic.
Do the advertisers choose to sponsor ClickForACause?
No. Unlike Breen's Hunger Site, we simply find advertisers who already have programs
intended to increase traffic and/or sales at their site. We apply to join those programs
and, if accepted, include the links on our donation page. The basic premise of ClickForACause
is to redirect existing advertising money to good purposes.
On the other hand, advertisers do generally look at our site before approving use of their
links and we suggest that you show your appreciation of the donations their advertising
budgets are paying for by patronizing them if you find their products and services attractive.
Do you have a formal connection with the UN World Food Program?
No. We simply choose, at present, to donate all money we raise through ClickForACause for
that purpose. We intend to support other worthy causes in time. Of course, our donations page
will always clearly indicate where money will go.

Why do you limit clicks to once a day per link?
Advertisers won't continue to allow us to join their affiliate programs if we abuse the system.
A big advantage of ClickForACause--really our key improvement over Breen's original idea--is that you
can click more than once per day so long as you don't click on the same link. You can generate
a lot of donations without putting advertisers off. Do it that way and we'll keep the donations
coming.
